Integration Solutions

Every project is unique! CITI proudly supports both modern and legacy software and equipment, as well as the conversion and upgrades of pre-existing systems. Our software engineers have over 50 years of combined experience programming automation controls and hardware design for projects of all sizes. If you need help finding out where to get started, or don't see your platform listed on our site, contact us and we can assist you personally!

SCADA

We design new and upgrade existing “Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition”  systems. (SCADA)

3D SCADA Graphics

In the early 1990’s, CITI was one of the first systems integration companies to use 3D graphic models to depict plant processes. Many plants still favor this style for representing their facilities, so our design team uses a combination of site pictures, CAD drawings, and graphic design software suites to create site specific models of entire plants and their processes. Once a model is complete, we add overlays and popups containing readouts that provide live, color coded data of current conditions.

High Performance HMI

In the early 2010’s, industrial user interfaces had undergone an evolution. Design philosophies now weighed more heavily on methods for rapidly depicting problems; so, the graphics of systems were minimalized as a result. Symbolic representations of processes with contextualized alarms made such a vast functional improvement over old designs, so much so that this style now comprises the majority of the SCADA work we perform for our customers.

PLC Programming:

  • Rockwell: Logix PLCs
  • Schneider: Modicon
  • Siemens: S7
  • AutomationDirect: Click Series
  • Square D: SyMAX
  • …and more!

PLCs are used in many industries and machines. Unlike general-purpose computers, the PLC is designed for multiple inputs and output arrangements, extended temperature ranges, immunity to electrical noise, and resistance to vibration and impact.

CITI offers the very best Programmable Logic Control (PLC) engineering services available. Unlike typical desktop PCs, PLCs are special computers that work for years without interruption in extremely hot and cold temperatures and environments with vibration or hazardous atmospheres. Combined with their ability to communicate using special protocols common in industrial automation, they are the preferred solution for industrial control systems.

Our programming team is composed of talented professionals and senior programmers with over 70 cumulative years of experience. We proudly follow industry-standard principles for program organization ensuring that future expansion is a breeze! With CITI, we not only meet your project requirements, we ensure your future success!

Controls Design

Custom built, UL certified control panels built specifically for your needs.

A room filled with lots of computers and other equipment.

We design/build UL certified panels for:

  • Indoor/Outdoor use
  • Corrosive Environments
  • Explosive Atmospheres
  • UL 508A
  • UL 698A

Control Panel Design

CITI has its own UL certified assembly shop, where we build and test our customers’ control panels.

After meeting with the customer to determine needs and budget, CITI will design preliminary drawings. These drawings are then approved by the customer, at which point our panel shop will construct the panel. We run intensive diagnostics to verify every point or wiring within the panel before a final factory acceptance test (FAT)  to ensure a seamless installation and start up.

Our panels are listed to UL 508A/UL 698 standards depending on if they contain intrinsically safe circuits for use in hazardous locations.
